Air – Seven Stars (ft. Victoria Legrand)

Nothing says Hipster more than the French.  Am I right?  And with over 5.5 million worldwide album sales to their credit, Air (Nicolas Godin and JB Dunckel) has become de facto ambassadors of modern French pop, whose fans are drawn back to each new musical adventure by their inventive arrangements, and a playful yet unpredictable palette of sounds and songcraft.  It’s been almost 3 years since the release of their last LP, “Love 2”.  An album which Rolling Stone said was “full of typically chic and spacey tunes”.   Le Voyage Dans La Lune (inspired from the classic 1902 silent film of same name) is slated for an early February release.  The last 1:30 of Seven Stars features Victoria Legrand of Beach House and if this song is any indication of how good the album will be then I’m seriously stoked.
